Q. What do you mean by ‘zine’?
A. In this context, fanzine refers to a collaborative, small-circulation, self-published booklet centered around a specific theme featuring original texts and images.Q. Will this project be physical? Digital? Free? For charity?
A. Financial details as to the end product remain to be determined depending on results of the interest check form. Regardless, contributors will, at minimum, be compensated with a copy of the zine (at production cost + shipping if the zine is physical, otherwise free.)Q. What will the zine feature? What kind of content is allowed?
A. This zine is SFW - no sexually explicit content will be permitted. However, canon-accurate amounts of sensitive topics, violence and partial nudity may feature.
The zine will feature illustrations and writing (prose and/or poetry). It may be accompanied by merch (physical or digital).Q. What about AUs?
A. Generally, AUs are allowed. However, pitches for crossover AUs with other properties unrelated to Yakuza will not be allowed. Pitches involving magic/fantastical elements will be relatively restricted (ie. no full-on isekai or fantasy world AUs). Yokais, ghosts and zombies are fine.Q.
